THIS YEAR:
Timely Transformation, Tough Decisions, Tearful Transitions, and Tilted Crowns
This has truly been a tough year thus far! If I had a magnifying glass, a crystal ball, or bifocals, I still would not have seen THIS YEAR coming!
I am not ready to fully release into the atmosphere all that THIS YEAR has been for my life! It is very true that we all are going through, surviving, or coming out of something. THIS YEAR has turned those words on their side, shook them vigorously, and composed a soundtrack for my life, forcing me to see, talk, and walk differently!
THIS YEAR has taught me the value of knowing DIFFERENCE!
The difference between accepting what they give vs. speaking up for what you deserve.
The difference between living on your terms vs. making decisions out of the anxieties of those who love you.
The difference between actually fixing something or working on it just so it can be used another time.
The difference between being present and accounted for vs. giving presents to be accounted for.
The difference between being tolerated vs. being appreciated.
The difference between what's understood vs. what's in writing.
The difference between intention and interpretation.
The difference between my village and my community.
The difference between being incoherently invisible vs. being consciously silent.
The difference between knowing how your presence will make an impact vs. knowing how your presence will be impacted.
The difference between being RELATIVE and being RELATABLE!
Surely I have more DIFFERENCES that remain understated. However, rocking with the knowledge of DIFFERENCE... THIS YEAR has made me better!
While it's not time to pull the veil back, I will say that in moments of unexpectancy, you have to be willing to be changed. No matter how hard the tough decisions, the tearful transitions, or how much it tilts your crown, the you that emerges from the metamorphosis of it all was part of a timely transformation, no matter how painful or untimely it feels.
Peace and Blessings,
Love and Light,
Coach A
